Leider können wir unsere Snaredrums momentan nicht produzieren. Ein wichtiger Materialbestandteil im Kessel ist auf dem ganzen Weltmarkt nicht mehr lieferbar.

Drums aus Kohlefaser sind ja keine große Neuigkeit. Die Miller Snare allerdings besteht nicht, wie üblicherweise aus Kohlefaser-Industrierohren, die einfach auf die nötige Länge abgesägt werden.

Der Materialaufbau ist speziell dafür entwickelt und enthält neben der Kohlefaser einen Anteil von senkrecht ausgerichteten Hohlglasfasern. Das ganze ist in eine Wandstärke des Kessels von nur ca 2,5 mm  komprimiert.

Extreme Leichtigkeit ( nur 2.8 kg), hervorragendes Attack und angenehme Wärme im Sound sind das Resultat.

Ebenso ist dieser Kessel absolut resistent gegen jegliche klimatische Einflüsse wir Temperatur oder Feuchtigkeit.

Carbon Fibre drums are not really new.  But the MILLER drumshells are not only industrial tubes of carbon fibre.

An especially developed compound of carbon fibres and hollow glass fibres provide a fantastic attack and smooth warmth in sound.

A thickness of only about 2.5 mm  makes it ultralight and of course, the shell is absolutely resitant against climate influences as temperature and moisture.
